Please see the full job description below and apply or reach out if interested!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist Purchasing Director with implementation of new subcontractorsImplement options mapping and new community build out as laid out by Purchasing DirectorScrub jobs to ensure budget accuracyNegotiate subcontractor pricing to achieve cost reductionsFind qualified trade partners who can provide cost effective construction and qualityParticipate and prepare reporting, tracking and rebate information on Net Plus Contract ProgramUpdate approved bid listsPerform all other duties as assignedEXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGEAt least two (2) years of experience in estimating or purchasing for a production residential builderBachelor's degree preferred, but not requiredExperience with New Star Enterprise or Equivalent Software and electronic take off (preferred) but not requiredMS Office and proficiency with spreadsheetsSelf-motivated with attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to work as a team memberOrganization and time management skills are a necessityExceptional communication skills -- both written and verbalComfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and key business partnersStrong attention to detailAbility to establish and maintain strong relationshipsProficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and WordValid Driver's License
