Slone Partners seeks a Laboratory Director of Clinical Chemistry and Clinical Toxicology to serve as the primary liaison to the core laboratory, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. Under the direction of the Laboratory Director of Record, this leader is involved in the planning, development, and implementation of new and improved laboratory methods, as well as approving them before implementation.The Lab Director will support core laboratory staff with questions surrounding analytical performance, data review, data release, and reporting. They will also play a key role in maintaining quality standards, and participating in proficiency testing, performance reviews, and corrective/preventive actions. Additionally, the Lab Director may be assigned specific quality-based SOPs to ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and may interact with clients to address issues within their scope.Qualified Candidates will have a Ph.D. in biological, chemical, or clinical laboratory science and board certification (ABCC [TC and/or CC], ABFT, NRCC, or equivalent). At least 4 years of experience in a clinical or forensic laboratory, with a minimum of 2 years focused on toxicological testing methods and techniques.This is an exciting opportunity to lead laboratory excellence, ensuring the highest standards of quality, innovation, and compliance.
