Senior Buyer

National Roofing company is seeking a Senior Buyer to join the construction operations team. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the material purchasing process and supplier management. This position handles developing and implementing purchasing strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and tracking supplier performance.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings, quality, and delivery of supplies and equipmentNegotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best pricing and termMonitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligationEnsure that the organization's purchasing policies and procedures are followedTrack and analyze data to identify trends and recommend purchasing strategiesManage supplier relationships to ensure that all parties' needs are metMaintain an accurate database of suppliers and productsResearch potential vendors and products to identify cost-effective solutionsPrepare and review purchase orders, invoices, and other documentsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or related desireExperience with buying and supplier management within construction, roofing, windows, doors etc. or related industriesExperience in buying and supplier management within multi-state operations and/or product/service lines environmentsExperience negotiating service contracts and pricingExperience supervising teams helpfulCompensation PackageCompetitive Salary + Performance IncentivesMedical/Dental/Vision/401k/PTO
