CloroxIsThePlaceYour role at Clorox:The Director of Manufacturing responsibilities include both internal and external manufacturing for a business unit. The role will report dually to the BU Supply Chain Lead reporting through the BU GM. The BU Manufacturing Lead contributes to delivering the P&L for the BU, working closely with the BU Supply Chain Lead. This role ensures transparency on key production metrics and escalating issues when needed.In this role, you will:Develops recommendations for annual and long-term manufacturing strategy / capability plans which includes human capital, skills, capital improvements, work process changes, manufacturing network strategy, overall management proceduresOrganizes, develops, and retains accountability for the performance of safety, operations, maintenance, quality, and distribution functions for the plants within the BU across key performance metrics and KPIs (i.e., manufacturing balance scorecard)Responsible for all personnel activities, hiring and talent selection, disciplinary actions and evaluations for supervisory and other manufacturing personnelOwns network materials management working with the Demand Planning teamImplements and ensures standard work, adopting GME best practices and processesEnsures compliance with EHS standards and owns preparedness for plant audits by internal & external partiesDevelops recommendations for annual and long-term manufacturing strategy / capability plans which includes human capital, skills, capital improvements, work process changes, manufacturing network strategy, overall management proceduresOrganizes, develops, and retains accountability for the performance of safety, operations, maintenance, quality, and distribution functions for the plants within the BU across key performance metrics and KPIs (i.e., manufacturing balance scorecard)Responsible for all personnel activities, hiring and talent selection, disciplinary actions and evaluations for supervisory and other manufacturing personnelOwns network materials management working with the Demand Planning teamImplements and ensures standard work, adopting GME best practices and processesEnsures compliance with EHS standards and owns preparedness for plant audits by internal & external partiesWhat we look for:10+ years of experience in transportation in Operations for similar organizations within manufacturingBachelor's degree in supply chain or related field preferred.Strong Leadership & Influence: Able to influence manufacturing teams to integrate and execute the strategic agenda of BUExcellent communication skills: Able to communicate with different levels & functions within the organization.Planning & Organization: Able to handle and organize multiple sources of information to articulate them into a single plan to drive & track executionCollaboration: Able to work in a team-work oriented environment, and to drive decision making and/or consensus to complex business situations where a high degree of interaction is requiredWorkplace type:HybridWe seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.-Zone A: $175,100 - $360,700-Zone B: $160,500 - $330,700-Zone C: $145,900 - $300,600All ranges are subject to change in the future.
