Summary: Enru Logistics and Postal Optimization is looking for a Continuous Improvement Leader. The role will be responsible for leading and driving a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, streamline process, and maximize overall performance. The continuous improvement leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable solutions. This position will sit onsite in Bolingbrook, IL with some travel required. The Continuous Improvement Leader will report to VP of Finance. Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is required. Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Teach and facilitate lean transformation in both the office and manufacturing environments. Conduct thorough assessments of existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with project managers on cross-functional improvement projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet predefined objectives. Implement lean principles and methodologies to optimize workflows. Work with process leaders to implement activities with verified results. Project Manage key initiatives in addition to potentially work with PMs. Maintain flexibility to Do and Manage depending on the situation. Ability to work autonomously in a Horizontal role driving impact through influence and guidance Skills and CompetenciesBased on the essential and other duties and responsibilities of the position, the Leader should have several professional skills and abilities: Strong communication skills and comfort with facilitating to groups at all levels in the organization. Analyze existing processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and utilize proven methodologies such as PDCA, Lean, and KATA to develop solutions. Financial acumen Ability to manage a complex array of projects/programs simultaneously with different stakeholders. Deep understanding of data and systems. Qualifications:Based on the technical and professional responsibilities of the position, the role is required to have:Minimum 15 years' experience in process optimization, engineering, quality, or business management in manufacturing environment. Project management experience with aptitude for being a self-starter and balancing/prioritizing multiple projects at once. Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required. Demonstrated ability to teach/train in Lean Manufacturing. Proficiency in commonly used and specialized project mgmt. software Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including advanced skills with Excel.
