Maimonides is an affiliate of Northwell Health and a major clinical training site for SUNY Downstate College of Medicine.We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Applications Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain management systems and applications. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient operations of our healthcare supply chain technology infrastructure.In this role, you will:Lead and manage a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ERP, including hiring, training, motivating, supervising, and evaluating staff performance.Lead the implementation, maintenance, optimization, and integration of supply chain management applications and systems.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for supply chain applications.Provide technical support and training to end users across the organization.Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system updates.Create and present dashboards and monthly metrics for leadership.Manage system access and security protocols.Perform data entry, either manually or using other technology, when needed or required.Implement full system functionality including automated replenishment of warehouse supplies and all electronic data interchange (EDI) processes.Oversee the use of GHX/EDI for electronic transactions, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely exchange of procurement data. Monitor the performance and reliability of the GHX/EDI system, implementing improvements as needed to support supply chain operations.Manage the vendor portals to streamline communication, aid timely invoice resolution improve transaction processing, and enhance vendor relationships.Expand the utilization of GHX/EDI capabilities to include more suppliers and contract categories.Develop and maintain documentation and training materials related to GHX/EDI processes.Work with suppliers and IT to implement punch-out services.Coordinate with IT and cross-functional teams to customize and configure the ERP system to meet the specific needs of the hospital.Oversee ERP system maintenance, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.Coordinate with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and other partners for reporting as required.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance item master data management processes in order to maintain clean item files, free of duplicates, and improve charge capture abilities.Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintaining items, inventory, par, and storage locations.Manage Quarterly Perpetual Inventory Count.We require:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information system design, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field5+ years of experience in healthcare supply chain systems managementStrong knowledge of healthcare supply chain operations and technologiesProficiency in ERP systems use"”PeopleSoft"”and strong working knowledge, basic programming skills and information system designProven project management, organizational and managerialStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with inventory management systemsKnowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)Computer proficiency in MS OfficeUnderstanding of database management and SQLFamiliarity with project management methodologiesWe prefer:Master's degree in a related fieldHealthcare supply chain certifications (CMRP, CPSM, or similar)Experience with change management in healthcare settingsKnowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, HIPAA)Experience with data analytics and business intelligence toolsSalary: $100k - $120k/yr.
