Product DesignerLocationRemoteDuration12 months to start Payup to $65.00/hr - $68/hr, DOE (W2 and benefit options) Planet Interactive is looking for a Product Designer to join our well-known lifestyle brand technology client on a 12-month contract. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role working a remote schedule.Responsibilities: Utilize design expertise in product thinking, interaction design, and craftsmanship to enhance the product.Collaborate closely with the engineering, product management, and research teams to devise impactful, user-centric, and data-informed solutions.Encourage collaboration through actively seeking feedback and managing relationships with various stakeholders.Work alongside engineers throughout the implementation and quality assurance phases.Maintain and promote a high standard of design execution within the team.Qualifications: At least 3-4 years of experienceHighly proficient in FigmaProven track record envisioning, building, and iterating on digital products in close partnership with product management and engineeringStrong portfolio that demonstrates outstanding design skills and product thinking informed by qualitative and quantitative insights - MUST include with applicationGreat communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and the solutions to problemsAttention to detail and a sense of pride and ownership over the quality of the productSolid understanding of layout, typography, color, and other graphic design principlesAbility to work within and extend a design systemTeam player with strong collaboration skills and ability bring cross-functional partners along in the journeyHigh level of self-awareness with a growth mindset
