VP of Clinical Development

Job Description:We are seeking an experienced VP of Clinical Development to lead the clinical strategy and development of our pipeline in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of clinical development experience in biotech, with a focus on cardiovascular (preferably electrophysiology), gout, and antiarrhythmic therapies.Key Responsibilities:Lead clinical development strategy, including trial design and execution, for our cardiovascular and metabolic disease programs.Drive clinical programs in cardiovascular (preferably electrophysiology), gout, and antiarrhythmic drugs.Manage relationships with the FDA, contribute to regulatory submissions, and represent the company in discussions with KOLs.Provide leadership to the clinical team and ensure high performance in a fast-paced biotech environment.Present clinical data to investors, stakeholders, and at industry events.Qualifications:MD, licensed in the U.S.10+ years of experience in clinical development, including significant experience in biotech or small-to-medium-sized companies.Expertise in cardiovascular (preferably electrophysiology) or metabolic diseases (gout and antiarrhythmic drugs preferred).Proven ability to design and execute clinical trials and navigate FDA regulatory processes.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Local to the SF Bay Area (Fremont or Newark).
