Purchasing & Inventory Analyst

LaSalle Network is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Analyst to join the team of one of our top manufacturing clients in Schaumburg, IL. This role is integral in ensuring efficient inventory management and optimizing purchasing processes to support business operations. This is a temporary opportunity (3-month contract to start) and requires four days onsite in their Schaumberg office.Purchasing & Inventory AnalystResponsibilities:Analyze inventory levels, usage trends and replenishment needs to maintain optimal stockCoordinate purchasing activities to meet production and operational requirementsCollaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms and ensure timely deliveriesMonitor and manage inventory discrepancies, conducting root cause analysis when neededPrepare and present reports on inventory performance and procurement activitiesIdentify opportunities for cost savings and process improvementsPurchasing & Inventory AnalystRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field preferred2+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory management or supply chain rolesProficiency in inventory management systems and MS ExcelStrong analytical, organizational and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the qualifications, please apply today!
