Executive Assistant/Office Manager/IR Assistant - Start-up Hedge FundA startup hedge fund is looking for an incredible administrator to assist in all aspects of business building, from day-to-day administrative tasks, client support and general office management. This role requires a startup mentality and the ability to move between multiple work streams as well as take a lead as culture carrier and ambassador for the firm. Strong communications skills are critical as this role will interact frequently and often as the first point of contact with investors, management teams of portfolio companies, and industry partners. The company places a priority on raw intelligence, detail orientation, strong work ethic, and desire to learn.Salary range: $120-175k base range (slight flex DOE) + discretionary bonus and will help get excellent benefits package set up for employees!Location: The Office is currently in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, and will be moving to downtown Manhattan in fall 2025. Onsite Monday - FridayHoursgenerally 8:30a-5:30pm - be must be responsive as needed, since it's a fund going through a lot of growthIdeal candidate:4+ years of experience - must have experience in Public Equities, finance (ideally hedge fund)Experience across administration/EA support, Office Management and Investor Relations preferredDegree requiredStrong communicator and someone who can represent the firm wellExtremely professionalSomeone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoys wearing many hatsNeed someone sharp & eager to learn and who is excited about contributing in a major wayResponsibilities include:Administrative support including calendar management/scheduling (lighter- the founder does his own scheduling), travel coordination (heavy), expense/invoice processingExternal communications support including scheduling with investors, portfolio companies, brokers and research providers, service providers, legal counsel, senior advisors, and media as well as preparing and distributing materials to Senior Advisory BoardOffice management support including coordinating furniture, technology, and other vendors to set up physical office infrastructureMarketing support from setup of corporate presence (website, business cards, etc.) to investor outreach coordination (liaise with prime brokers, maintain database, track progress, research potential investors and investment programs, distribute materials)Research support including setup and workflow coordination with various research providers, research software providers and expert call networksThe firm will be going through an office move in 6-9 months so someone to help take the lead on that-Staying on top of payments, vendors, contracts, etc.There is significant growth opportunity for this role given the startup nature to help build key functions across HR, investor relations and operations as they grow/ down the line.Please submit your resume to apply!You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting /home/candidate.
