Underwriter - Group Medical Stop Loss - Self Funding

We are looking for a Group Medical Stop Loss Underwriter with 2 to 5 years of experience, preferably with at least 2 years in self-funding. We are a diversified health insurance company and benefits broker with a Self-funded Group Health Insurance clients. What We're Looking For:3+ years of underwriting experience specifically with self-funding or level-funded Group Medical.Strong knowledge of self-funded markets, group health insurance and small to mid-size employer groups.Location: Prefer Hybrid near Philadelphia, but open to remote for the right candidate.Some Specifics:• This is a production role to support our growing business.• Review renewal and new business proposals to ensure that quoted business is in line with company objectives, goals, and solutions.• Develop relationships with key constituents and decision makers based on trust and credibility to enhance influence on risk management and pricing decisions.• Provide solid and persuasive arguments to move Sales and external audiences toward appropriate risk solutions.• A good communicator: collaborating with Sales and other key constituents to drive successful outcomes.• Ability to recognize and drive process improvement.• Exposure to the Ugan underwriting system and Salesforce a plus.
