Reimbursement Specialist

This Reimbursement Specialist will be responsible for analyzing payments to identify overpayments, duplicate payments, and refund requests, as well as processing and issuing refunds in a timely manner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team with a company that values precision and efficiency in its revenue cycle operations.Reimbursement SpecialistResponsibilities:Analyze patient and insurance payments to detect overpayments, duplicate payments, and inconsistenciesAccurately process and distribute refunds to patients, insurance companies, and other payers in a timely mannerCollaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve payment discrepanciesMaintain accurate records of refunds and adjustments in the systemCommunicate with patients and insurance companies regarding refund requests and payment resolutionsEnsure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to payments and refundsSupport additional accounts receivable and revenue cycle tasks as neededReimbursement SpecialistRequirements:Previous experience in reimbursement, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management preferredStrong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detailProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of healthcare billing and insurance processes is a plus If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring accuracy in reimbursement processes, we encourage you to apply!
