Position: Supply Chain ManagerNote: Senior-level contributor role, no supervision of employeesClearance: Active Secret a plus; must be Clearable (US Citizen) at a minimumType: Direct Hire with Full Benefits PackageSalary Range: $110,000 to $135,000, depending on experience levelStart Estimate: March 15 - April 1Office Location: Centennial, CO (Denver)Work Location: 100% Onsite 1st 3 Months, then 50/50 Hybrid (Office/Home) thereafterCompany: Mid-size National Security IT Services Government ContractorSummaryThis position will support multiple active subcontracts, material buys, conduct price evaluation, and participate in the proposal process.Must have experience working for companies that support the fed GovtResponsibilitiesConduct market research to identify sources of supply for systems, components, and/or services.Review competitive proposals for systems and services offered by suppliers and prepare comparative analyses of factors such as cost, delivery schedule, quality, and past performance.Negotiate subcontract requirements, prices, and terms and conditions.Issue subcontracts to partner businesses ranging in size from startups to large defense contractors.Maintain procurement history records on all transactions.Extensively interact with multiple functions including engineering, operations, quality, finance, accounting, and management to achieve procurement objectives.Manage suppliers and expedite supplier deliverables. Resolve supplier problems as they arise.Ensure that procurement actions and file documents support a Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Approved Purchasing System.Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory and audit requirements, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), and contract terms and conditions.May provide guidance to and supervise procurement personnel.QualificationsMust be a U.S. citizen.Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, economics, or a related field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement.Minimum of 5 years' experience at a government contractor or subcontractor.Active security clearance or ability and willingness to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.Experience successfully passing a DCMA Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR).Experience with Deltek CostPointExperience on complex development programs.Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with strong work ethic.Experience with subcontracting on US Government programs.Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.Strong analytic and negotiation skills.Experience creating and implementing new processes.
