A healthcare company on Long Island is currently seeking a new Attorney to join their growing team to focus on Ethics & Compliance. In this role, the Attorney will be responsible for managing ethics and compliance due diligence and integration processes for M&A transactions, including acquisitions, investments, and divestitures. Responsibilities:Conduct ethics and compliance due diligence for global M&A deals, assessing areas such as data protection, anti-corruption, and government contractingDevelop written assessments with risk-ranked observations and proposed remediation plansParticipate in internal and external meetings related to each dealManage engagement, budgeting, and deliverables of third-party advisorsFacilitate implementation and tracking of pre- and post-closing remediation actionsPrepare reports and presentations for executive managementAdvise on contract provisions in transactional agreementsNotify relevant teams of closed deals to initiate post-close integrationAnalyze new regulatory and legal compliance requirements impacting M&A activitiesQualifications:Admitted to Bar or possess a Law / Graduate DegreeDeep understanding of industry practices and Compliance procedures.Solid negotiation and project management skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:Experience in the Healthcare and/or Life Sciences industry
