Hi DFW!One of my Building Technology clients is seeking two Estimators to join their office in Dallas, TX. APPLY TODAY!In this position, you will report to the Chief EstimatorDay to day duties:Responsible for multiple systems on Technical, Health Care or Industrial projectsLead fully engineered estimates up to $5MUnderstand the concepts and process of conceptual estimates and budgets up to $1MReview the scope specified within the proposal and ensure estimates include appropriate scopeDevelop detailed cost estimates and proactively identify deficiencies and/or questions; actively assist the project team toward the answersReview contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and equitable cost allowance for scope changesProficient with estimating softwareWorking knowledge of McCormick and BluebeamProven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishmentEffective oral and written communication skillsReview Estimate take-offsUnderstanding and familiarity with NECMentoring Estimator Trainees & Estimator 1 staffRequirementsA Bachelors with concentration in Construction/Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related career experience2+ years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor-must be experience from a top 50 competitors commercial electrical, building technology company1+years of recent Electrical Estimating experience with on-screen take-off experience preferredComputer literate and able to quickly master and apply department's computer systems and softwareDesired Skills and ExperienceHi DFW!One of my Building Technology clients is seeking two Estimators to join their office in Dallas, TX.
