Sr. Manager, Market Strategy & Decision Support

Our client, a renowned healthcare institution, is seeking a Senior Analyst working fully remote with travel to Philadelphia several times a year.The Financial Data Analyst plays a key role in enhancing financial decision-making across the organization. This position is responsible for managing financial data related to budgeting, long-term planning, decision support systems, benchmarking, productivity tools, reporting, analytics, and modeling. The primary focus is to conduct data analyses and generate reports that support strategic decision-making.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform data analytics, financial decision support, business statistics, benchmarking, budgeting, long-term strategic planning, predictive modeling, productivity analysis, and dashboard/financial reporting.Develop and track financial metrics, perform trend analysis, and assess data/system quality.Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns within complex data sets.Gather and manage data from various sources, ensuring database integrity and efficiency.Use statistical techniques to interpret data and generate actionable insights.Create and present reports, summaries, and findings to support business objectives.Lead projects and provide training to junior analysts.Required Licenses, Certifications, and RegistrationsNoneEducation and Experience RequirementsRequired Education: Bachelor's degreeRequired Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in financial analytics and planningPreferred Education, Experience, and CertificationsBackground in healthcare finance and accounting is preferred.Technical Skills and CompetenciesExperience handling large and complex data sets.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new financial systems and tools.Proficiency in explaining complex financial and statistical concepts to diverse audiences.Technical expertise in financial and data management systems, including:EPIC, Allscripts EPSi, Kronos, KREGMicrosoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Access)Lawson, QlikView, Monarch, Business Objects, Crystal ReportsProClarity, OLAP, Strata JazzVisual Basic Programming, SQL, and other database management tools
