Senior Legal Counsel Compliance

The ideal Candidate would bring:8+ years PQE in a law firm, compliance team or in-house.Exposure to the Energy sector.Salary: $150,000 - 250,000 fixed per annum.Position Overview:The Senior Legal Counsel Compliance, will oversee the company's World Ethics Compliance Program. Working closely with the VP, Assistant General Counsel & Head of Compliance, this role will focus on identifying, analyzing, and managing legal and regulatory risks, particularly related to economic and trade sanctions, data privacy, anti-corruption, cybersecurity, and antitrust/competition. Specific duties include:Developing and maintaining the global compliance program, including creating policies and procedures, and conducting worldwide training sessions.Overseeing the compliance program related to sanctions and trade controls.Managing adherence to global data privacy laws, including addressing data breaches and handling data subject access requests.Leading a team of senior managers and analysts responsible for third-party due diligence.Experience:Juris Doctor (JD) and membership in a U.S. State Bar.Extensive experience in managing and developing a global compliance program.Exposure to the Energy sector.
