We're headquartered in Easton, Pa with offices and showrooms located in California, New York City, Chicago and the Netherlands.We are seeking a Vice President Operations & Supply Chain, reporting to the President of HAT and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. This leader will be critical to fueling HAT's growth and realizing its full potential as a global market leader.The Vice President, Operations & Supply Chain will create value by providing the operational vision, leadership, and strategy necessary to drive next generation operational initiatives and build the team to execute them. S/he will have direct oversight for the business' integrated supply chain, including sourcing/supplier management, manufacturing/assembly, supply & demand planning, distribution, and logistics.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the President, peers on the Senior Leadership team and private equity partners to define and articulate the organization's vision and develop strategies for achieving that vision.Advance the manufacturing operations and team in the Easton facility to the next level. Evolve current process of small company mindset to larger scale. Find opportunities to drive out waste and excess costs. Evaluate automation and technology enhancements that can help improve cycle times and reduce costs.Evolve the S&OP process to the next levels. Build upon the current processes to improve efficiencies in the process to ensure we have critical inventory for in stock programs while balancing working capital and warehouse space.Set talent strategy for operations including evaluation and transformation of current team and provide talent management leadership. Partner closely with the human resources organization to drive a best- in-class supply chain and operations capability through improved succession planning, organizational assessment, identification of key skill gaps, and overall talent acquisition and talent development strategies that link with business goals.Collaborate closely with commercial organization to ensure alignment between manufacturing, project management and sales, enabling faster cycle times and improved client cycle engagement through an iterative process.Identify opportunities to optimize procurement/supplier relations, logistics, planning, and distribution through continuous improvement programs.Overall responsibility for performance of all manufacturing sites including safety, service, quality and cost. S/he is expected to identify areas to improve margins, purchasing controls and procedures, operational efficiency and processes (waste, equipment uptime, manufacturing flexibility, etc.).Drive working capital efficiencies throughout the supply chain to achieve optimal performance in inventory and working capital deployment.Establish and manage objective, measurable, departmental and individual goals by developing, implementing and refining key performance indicators across the different plants.Collaborate across the organization to drive enterprise goals and objectives.Integrates economic, societal, and environmental factors into a purpose-driven strategy, turning sustainability into a competitive advantage.SkillsDeep expertise leading an integrated supply chain (Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Planning & Logistics). This includes a thorough understanding of ERP planning, purchasing and execution as well as the leadership to help set strategies / processes to improve process , performance and efficiencies.Ability to build agile/flexible supply chain organizations and processes from the ground up.Hands-on experience driving results across safety, quality, cost, and service.Deep expertise advanced operational excellence (Lean/TPM) and ability to implementPlant management experience highly preferred.Experience leading and de-risking a global supply chain (including low-cost country sourcing).Experience optimizing vendor relationships.Experience in a B2B sector with similar dynamics (materials/market dynamics/lead times/channels) highly preferred.Must understand high-growth operating tempo.Entrepreneurial spirit/ability to create structure & process.This role is essential for fostering an innovative environment that promotes efficiency, quality, and growth within our organization.
