You will be able to dive into all areas of Sweet Water Decor to maximize sales and profitability while ensuring best strategies are in place using thorough analysis.Benefits Include:401K (and matching) after one yearPaid VacationPaid HolidaysHealthcare / Dental / Eye InsuranceEmployee discountJob Responsibilities Include (not limited to):Responsible for sales, inventory, revenue forecasting and reportingAnalyze and run all sales reports - evaluating retail performance and analyzing customer behaviorAnalyzes key business performances for all platforms and determines areas of opportunityAnalyzes ROI in multiple business areas and gives recommendationsOptimize retail operations to boost KPIsDevelop sound retail growth strategiesAnalyze key performances for marketing, advertising, and everyday business items - diving into all areasAccounting and financial analysis - focusing on maximizing sales and profitabilityWorks with Buying and Merchandising teams closely on inventory/sales analysisWorks with other departments on sales and marketing initiatives, product launches, sales, and moreConduct merchandising and financial analysisEvaluate, develop, deploy and configure new applications, systems, software, products or enhancements in existing applicationsAnalyzes demand and determines inventory strategy or alternative supply chain strategies for maintaining high material availability at the lowest total ownership costs with inventory space, margin, turn, ROIWorks with team to consider operations/warehouse space/capacityAbility to come up with innovative and out-of-the-box solutions to problemsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field5+ years experience in retail/manufacturing/inventory analytics after collegeProven experience as an analyst and forecastingExceptional communicator, problem solver, and critical thinker/problem solverStrong people skillsStrong ability to work independently as well as in a team environment/cross-functionallyAbility to learn quickly and continuously improving skills and knowledgeThorough understanding of sales analyticsSolid computer and analysis skills, including use of Google Docs/SheetsWell-organized and detail-orientedExceptional communication and writing skillsSWEET WATER DECORWho We AreSweet Water Decor is an online retailer created in 2014 by Pittsburgh native and candle enthusiast Melissa Horvath.After offering an assortment of home decor and gifts, Sweet Water Decor quickly became known for its Pittsburgh-made candles after introducing them in 2017.
