We aim to be the future of self-driving cars, not vehicles that are told how to drive through hand-coded rules and maps, but ones which learn from experience and data.Where you will have an impactWe're looking for an Indirect Purchasing manager who is passionate about working with engineers to bring early stage product development to scale and building a supply chain to meet this challenge. As the indirect purchasing manager you will be managing IT hardware and software, professional services, facilities, and other general procurement needs, to negotiate favourable terms and conditions, pricing and secure and confirm availability of product. These supply chains will need to be created in partnership with the engineering teams to help guide the product development as it scales and evolves with technological enhancement and control of quality. The indirect purchasing manager will be accountable for Supplier Relationship Management and costs of the product, with the ability to communicate these to leadership, and work to provide parallel or alternative paths to manufacturing for improvements in cost and demand.Challenges you will ownThe indirect purchasing manager will establish these relationships and manage the requirements in collaboration with our cross-functional teams. Our supply chain team has to be agile and adaptive to respond to short term requests and continual evolution of the request.
