With a focus on opportunistic returns in under-supplied South Florida markets, IRAS Group excels in property development, management, and acquisition functions.Role Description:We are looking for a strong, experienced leader for the position of Director of Sales at an IRAS Group's Marriott Hotel in Dania. The Director of Sales will be responsible for day-to-day sales operations, budgeting, training staff, overseeing food & beverage sales, and implementing marketing strategies to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.Qualifications:Budgeting and Sales skillsTraining and Food & Beverage knowledgeMarketing expertiseStrong leadership and interpersonal abilitiesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsExperience in the hospitality industry is requiredBachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fieldFamiliarity with the hotel market preferred.Your specific duties in this role will include:Working with management team in developing and executing sales & marketing strategiesAssisting with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and externalProviding positive and aggressive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential (e.g., sets example with personal booking goals)Recommending booking goals for sales team membersUtilizing all franchise selling tools to obtain maximum sale profitMonitoring all day-to-day activities of direct reportsParticipates in client calls as well as Franchise calls with members of your team to acquire new business and/or close on business.Executing and supporting the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence)Analyzing market information and implementing strategy to achieve property's financial room and catering goalsReviewing guest satisfaction results to identify areas of improvementEnsuring Exceptional Customer ServiceDisplaying leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifying customer service and creating a positive example for guest relationsDeveloping and managing relationships with key clients, both internal and external
