Outside Architectural Sales ConsultantLocation: Central and North FloridaSalary: $60,000 salary for the first 12 months, transitioning to full commission with draw. About Us Specified Architectural Systems is a Florida-based manufacturer's representative and certified general contractor specializing in the sale and installation of specialty construction products. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality solutions to the architectural and construction industries.Position Overview We are seeking a competitive, sales-driven, and highly motivated Outside Architectural Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will reside in the Orlando or Jacksonville area and will be responsible for developing and executing aggressive sales strategies to grow our presence in the Central and North Florida territories. Your focus will be on promoting our four product lines to architects and contractors, aiming to get these products designed and specified into commercial construction projects.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships with architects by delivering Continuing Education presentations, addressing design questions, and assisting with detailing and specifications.Actively participate in professional organizations that serve the architectural community.Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.Perform project take-offs and bid projects to general contractors.Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to understand project goals and provide recommendations or value-engineering solutions.Compile comprehensive project proposals and bid documents.Stay informed on industry trends and building code requirements related to our products.Transition project files to the in-house project management team.RequirementsAssociate's Degree or higher.Proven sales experience.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Willingness to travel overnight as required (30%-50% travel).Valid driver's license.Preferred QualificationsExperience in reading and interpreting construction plans and documents.Sales experience within the construction industry.Key Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skills for client and subcontractor collaboration.Strong time management and organizational abilities.Benefits100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees, with 50% coverage for dependentsCompany-provided cell phoneCar allowance and business-expensed gasolinePer diem for travel
