Officiate Replay Operator

Job Description:We are looking to hire a talented and experienced Officiate Replay Operator to join our on-site production team. Being an Officiate Replay Operator will involve night and weekend work or working in difficult weather conditions. Working in broadcasting is a place where good problem-solvers will flourish. The mixture of hands-on broadcasting tools with computer hardware and software means troubleshooting on the fly is a must. As a Officiate Replay Operator, you will be responsible for replaying footage, setting up and taking down the equipment & system, and operating equipment pertaining to the production. Responsibilities:Set up, maintain and operate the specialized equipment that controls the quality and clarity of the transmitted images, audio and video we see on television and the internet.As a Broadcast Associate you will provide technical support for live broadcasts. Set up, operate, and maintain the electronic equipment used to acquire, edit, and transmit audio and video for television programs.Run video and livestream equipment.Reviewing live footage to determine a potential overturned call on court. Consulting with the director, production team, and referee officials throughout the event.Overseeing set up/ takedown of equipment before and after an event.Qualifications:Must be available to work as needed; including days, evenings, holidays and weekends. Some events may be multiple days and events may last over 8 hours per day.Minimum 1-2 years of broadcasting/replay equipment and production experience preferred.Strong computer skills with ability to use basic windows applications and MACExperience with streaming programs such as OBS & VMIXMust be able to perform the essential functions of the job including lifting, bending, sitting, standing and kneelingExperience in video/broadcasting productionsAbility to work on a tight schedule.Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.The United Pickleball Association is an exciting and vibrant workplace dedicated to growing the sport of Pickleball faster than it ever has before.
