NNR Global Logistics USA Inc. benefits give you the flexibility and control to choose the benefits that make the most sense for you and your family.Medical, Dental, Vision, RX plans provide "optimal choices for individual and family needs"Wellness benefits "up to $400 annually"401K Plan "NNR Global Logistics USA Inc. matches 2% of your contributions."Benefits easy access from "App based program"Paid Time Off earned "after 90 days"JOB SUMMARYResponsible for coordinating the ocean operational activities of the branch office with a view to maintaining competitiveness and to increasing market share and becoming an integral and profitable region of NNR/USA.Duties & Functions• File NVOCC rates with Head Office Ocean Division.• Maintain NVOCC rate book for the Branch office.• Negotiate rate and space requirements with the steamship lines to obtain competitive rates for the Branch office.• Make bookings with steamship lines.• Arrange truck/rail movement of freight for shipper's location to sea ports.• Input ocean bill of lading into the computer system.• Prepare L/C documents per shipper's request.• Complete all Department of Commerce documentation for the exporting of freight out of the U.S.• Notify shippers of movement of freight by tracking and tracking shipments.• Reply to overseas requests.• Ensure that all shipments comply with FMC regulations.• Perform other duties as requested by management.QUALIFICATION STANDARDSEducation & Experience:• Minimum requirement High School diploma or GED.• At least 2 years' experience working in ocean operations.• Ability to use basic math skills to calculate freight, storage and other charges.• Expertise in international freight forwarding operations.• Excellent understanding of U.S. FMC regulations.• Excellent written and oral communication skills.• Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to motivate others.Physical requirements:• Flexible and long hours sometimes required including overtime.• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, frequently and/or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
