We have an immediate opening for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (High Level Generalist) to come join our team in Columbus, OH! This role will have a focus on non-exempt recruiting and providing Generalist support to field-based employees and operational leaders.The candidate hired will:Have 6-10 years of HR/Recruiting experience performing full-cycle recruiting, handling employee relations matters, coaching/training/mentoring team leaders, providing HR services and consultation to line level employees.Will work well in an environment with primarily field based employees and leadersBe a highly visible individual contributor for the regionA passion for tactical HR work and a desire to help the business move forward - The candidate hired must be "Tech Savvy" since this is a fully digitized HR environmentBe a partner to sales and operational teams under the direction of senior HR leadershipThe Human Resources Professional provides professional support for all organizational business initiatives through effective execution of Human Resources programs and practices. The focus of this position is staffing /recruiting and performing general HR Business Partner functions. Also assists with performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training, and other HR programs, projects and initiativesBachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience (6-10 years in an HR Generalist, Business Partner or similar role) from a large organizationMust be a proven recruiter and enjoy working in a hands-on "Generalist" capacityMust have strong employee relations-investigation skillsMust be able to travel based on business needs (10-25% or as needed)Strong knowledge base of labor laws/regulations; Multi-state experience a plus.Must be tech savvy and able to thrive in a fully digitized HR/Recruiting environment: Knowledge of HRIS systems including automated time and attendance system, on-boarding system (Any major ATS system) and managing documents in a secured-online repository.Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with diverse client groups and leaders at all levelsMust have a strong sense of urgency and able to successfully manage multiple tasks/projects with little directionExcellent presentation and interpersonal skillsMust be flexible to change as priorities shiftWill research and seek out answers to get resultsWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation & benefits (Competitive 401K match, generous PTO & holiday pay programs, discount on company products/vendor discount programs, free life insurance & more!)You'll be part of a global HR organization!You'll work for a growing division of Canon Inc. and be surrounded by colleagues with many years of tenure in the industry!An organization focused on internal talent development, offering many training programs!
