Independently researches industry and supplier insights to drive innovation and solutions to create incremental value and deliver best in class sourcing results. Develops short term and long term sourcing goals to realize value fast and ongoing, aligning with corporate vision and financial targets. Manage supplier relationships effectively and appropriately to create culture of proactive continuous improvement versus complacency.Responsible for sourcing the best deal possible, taking into account risk, business continuity, total cost of ownership, performance and overall strategic vision for supplier relationship within in the organization. Leads with bias towards action and prioritizing time to provide greatest value to organization, when competing programs and timelines arise. Categories may include but not limited to Capital Equipment (CAPEX), Building Operations, Facility Management (IFM), Consulting, Energy, Tax, Human Resources, Finance, Laboratory, Information Technology (IT), Marketing and CommunicationsOwns full execution of commercial go-to-market strategy and approach for specific indirect spend categories, including, but not limited to, RFPs, RFQs and RFIs.Proactively seeks out opportunities to drive additional value through best in class sourcing practicesActively seeks ways to streamline operations, and quickly get up to speed on industry and supplier landscapes over indirect spend categoriesCommunicates effectively with internal stakeholders, including those in executive positions, to gain alignment on sourcing recommendationsDevelops business cases and financial models to communicate and influence best path forwardDrives key supplier business reviews and develops supplier scorecard to objectively drive alignment where neededResults focused, and able to articulate value delivered to date and pipeline of value when askedMaintain the Contract Lifecycle Management database for your respective categoriesSupport training and compliance of Duly's procurement policies and proceduresBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of strategic sourcing experience in the indirect spend spaceSolid understanding of the 7 steps of procurement and effective business partneringExperience in negotiations for large scale and spend contracts, developing and executing on strategic sourcing strategiesExperience collaborating with cross functional teams and presenting to executive leadershipDemonstrated successful track record of exceeding savings targets and financial goalsIntermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (VLook-ups, Pivots, SUM, etc.)Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint for Executive PresentationsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with managing the CAPEX, or Capital Equipment Category, is a plusMBA, or other advanced degree or CPSM certificationAt least 4 years of experience leading change managementExperience delivering on aggressive savings targetsUnderstanding of working capital and driving payment term extensionsProfessional experience in healthcare (Med Tech, Retail Pharma, Pharma, Provider Space, Payer, etc.)Basic understanding of revenue cycle management within the provider spaceFamiliarity with Value Based Care and ACO ReachA curious and accountable mindset- track record of finding innovative solutions and meeting defined timelinesThe compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $107K-$161K with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
