Collections Specialist

Position Summary:As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will support the post-payment review function of the medical revenue cycle process. This includes reviewing paid claims, initiating NSA submissions, working with vendors, maintaining logs, and meeting deadlines.Essential Functions:Maintain and update databases and logs.Resolve outstanding accounts receivable issues.Respond to customer inquiries.Follow up with payers and third-party vendors.Identify and report billing and collection issues.Reconcile post-payment accounts.Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.Represent the company professionally.Qualifications:1-2 years of related experience.High school diploma or equivalent.Attention to detail and strong communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis.Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical revenue cycle processes.Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.They starting pay rate for this role is $23/hr. There is an annual bonus associated with the role as well.
