Global Trade Compliance ManagerWe are partnering with a well-established manufacturing firm to seek a Global Trade Compliance Manager. This role involves managing global trade compliance activities, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations. The candidate will oversee trade screening software, liaise with transportation service providers, and ensure compliance in all aspects of global distribution. The role demands a strategic approach to trade compliance, encompassing export license applications, classification validations, and harmonization of tariff classifications.The Global Trade Compliance Manager will serve as a subject matter expert, integrating with various departments like procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to maintain compliance. The role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of the company's global trade processes and contributing to the smooth execution of international transactions.This Role Offers:Competitive base salary plus full benefits package, including medical/dental/vision, 401(K) match, generous PTO, and other perks.Hybrid schedule with one day in office and four days remote.A compelling venture into the cutting edge of wireless connectivity solutions.The privilege to be part of a team pushing the boundaries of innovation in networking, while learning from the most tenured in the industry.A culture that values performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.Focus:Manage global trade compliance software and monitor international transactions.Collaborate with logistics providers to address compliance issues.Conduct audits and maintain proper documentation for trade processes.Perform compliance screenings for distributors and resellers globally.Lead export license applications and manage regulatory reporting.Act as a key contact for import/export compliance, utilizing in-country resources.Oversee product classification, tariff, and origin data management.Develop and provide compliance training and stay updated with relevant regulations.Skill Set:5-7 years of experience in international trade compliance.Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. and global trade laws and regulations, such as EAR, ITAR, CBP, OFAC, and other relevant compliance guidelines.High ethical standards, strong initiative, effective leadership, and sound decision-making capabilities with excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.Exceptional organizational abilities and follow-through; capable of operating independently.Willingness and capacity to gain an in-depth understanding of Cambium's products, configurations, and technical details for export licensing processes.Self-driven and adaptable to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly with team members.Skilled at meeting project deadlines while contributing to revenue objectives and quarter-end requirements.Experience with export controls related to encryption technology is desirable.Holding or having previously held a brokerage license is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Ability to communicate effectively across different cultures and time zones globally.Strong teamwork skills, supporting departmental and organizational objectives.Meticulous attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Effective multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.About Blue Signal:Blue Signal is an award-winning, executive search firm specializing in telecommunications recruiting.
