The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project by preparing construction estimates from civil plans.ResponsibilitiesRead and understand civil construction plansPerform quantity takeoffs from plansPerform material takeoffs from plansInput estimate information into estimating softwareMaintain a high work ethic which includes but is not limited to GADCO Safety PoliciesPerforms other duties and/or tasks as instructed or assignedQualificationsBachelor's or Associate's degree in construction/engineering discipline (or equivalent experience), preferredFamiliarity with blueprints and ability to read plansAbility to multi-task, prioritize, interact, and complete duties under tight deadlinesMust be organized and able to work with minimal supervisionExceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills1 - 3 years' of construction experience preferredBenefits OfferedPaid Time OffHealth/Dental/Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401K with Employer MatchBi-Annual Profit Sharing BonusesSchedule & LocationThis is an onsite position in Creedmoor, TX and the schedule is Monday through Friday.
