The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of safety management on construction sites. This position will ensure that all construction operations comply with safety regulations, best practices, and company policies, ensuring the protection of employees, contractors, and the community. The manager will lead safety initiatives, monitor risk factors, and implement strategies to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to property.This role requires a deep understanding of construction-specific hazards, industry regulations, and effective safety programs. The Safety Manager will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and senior leadership within mechanical and plumbing teams to drive a culture of safety across the organization.You Are:EXPERIENCED: Extensive previous construction safety experience required, preferably in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Refrigeration, and Heavy IndustrialEDUCATED: Bachelor's degree in safety-related field; Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), or similar safety-related certification preferred; OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required; OSHA 500/510 instructor certification preferredORGANIZED: Able to prioritize and follow up to manage multiple projects and deadlinesA COMMUNICATOR: Proactively communicate and resolve issues utilizing negotiation, conflict resolution, and conflict management skillsFLEXIBLE: Available as needed; travel to job sites as required, including outside of standard business hours and out of stateWhat you'll do:PUT SAFETY FIRST: Uphold the Health and Safety Program and Fleet Program guidelines, regularly updating to comply with project requirements and OSHA standards; Uphold jobsite safety procedures and regulationsDOCUMENT: Investigate, document, and follow-up on injury, property damage, and motor vehicle incidents, including site visits when necessary; maintain OSHA, DOT, EPA, GI, Insurance, and safety recordsINCIDENT MANAGEMENT: Investigate construction site accidents, injuries, and near misses, ensuring that root causes are identified and corrective actions are implementedINCIDENT REPORTING: Prepare detailed reports of incidents, including analysis and recommendations, and ensure timely submission to relevant stakeholdersBUILD RELATIONSHIPS: Communicate with project teams and F.E.
