Technical Source is looking for a Commissioning Engineer for our Client's team. You'll be responsible for supporting commissioning testing on facilities and manufacturing equipment, authoring key documents, and providing client support and project management as part of a larger team.What You'll DoGenerate key documents such as commissioning master plans, design qualification, equipment, facility, and utility commissioning protocols, and final reportsPerform commissioning and qualification testing on utilities, manufacturing process equipment, and instrumentsReview systems, equipment specifications, user manuals, and engineering documentation to ensure systems meet project requirementsConduct system walk-downs and testing, identifying gaps and non-conformances, and making necessary technical changes to systemsCollaborate with project teams, owners, contractors, and local personnel, ensuring effective communication across all stakeholdersProvide consistent commissioning updates to various stakeholders on project progressDevelop and review spare parts lists, ensuring adequacy and cost-effectiveness, and set up spare part room operations for clientsReview design specifications and engineering drawings to confirm systems meet the project's intentParticipate in professional organizations (e.g., ISPE, PDA, ASQ) relevant to commissioning and project workMaintain a positive attitude while contributing to a collaborative team environmentWho You'll Need to BeBS in engineering or life sciences, or equivalent combination of experience and education1+ years of experience in the commissioning field, ideally within a regulated industryStrong technical writing skills with experience in creating commissioning plans, risk assessments, and other project documentationKnowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systemsFamiliarity with commissioning software tools, methodologies, and best practicesStrong interpersonal skills, with experience managing stakeholders and working as part of a teamAbility to interpret P&IDs and other engineering documentationDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience working in a construction environment and with clean utilities preferredKnowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment
