Tax Counsel

The Opportunity:We're working with a premier investment firm that's experiencing exciting growth and looking to add a Tax Counsel to their team. This is a newly created role, and the ideal candidate will bring 4-6 years of experience in M&A transactions, tax planning, and fund formation. As their 6th hire, you'll be joining a collaborative, high-performing group in a fast-paced, high-transaction environment, where your contributions will have a direct impact on the firm's success.What You'll Do:Lead and advise on complex M&A transactions, tax planning, and structuring.Play a key role in fund formation and related tax issues.Who You Are:You have 4-6 years of experience in M&A tax, ideally from a top law firm.You're a strategic thinker with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and you enjoy working closely with others.Can work 3 days/week in their Midtown office
