We are recognized in these industries and related trade groups for our exceptional service and expertise.JOB DESCRIPTIONAPIS is seeking a Senior Insurance Coverage Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join our in-house legal team's leadership. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong legal acumen, superior negotiating skills, and the ability to work autonomously to review draft coverage decisions. The role plays a critical part in shaping our legal strategies and ensuring robust coverage for our clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate and interpret insurance policies and coverage issues in alternative healthcare professions.Review draft coverage decisions and provide feedback, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.Draft and review legal documents, coverage memos, and correspondence.Provide legal guidance and support regarding claims handling and coverage disputes.Contribute to the development of legal strategies to protect the interests of the company and its clients.QUALIFICATIONSJuris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in good standing.Minimum of 5+ years' experience in insurance coverage litigation, with a strong emphasis on healthcare, alternative healthcare, or the service industry.Proven track record of managing legal cases with minimal supervision.Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.SALARY AND BENEFITSSalary $150,000 to $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and flexible work arrangements.WHY JOIN APISAt APIS, you will join a reputable organization focused on delivering high-quality service in an exciting niche industry.
