The purpose of these prototypes is to validate to form, fit and function of the industrial design.ResponsibilitiesBuilds prototypes per specifications.Setup and operate prototype equipment. Laminators, plotter cutters and digital printer.Verifies vendor parts per specification.Assists as required to transfer information to manufacturing.Additional duties as required.Education and ExperienceHigh school DiplomaRequired SkillsProblem-solving & planning skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.Ability to work overtime as necessary.Preferred SkillsAutoCAD, Mimaki and Zund experience preferred.Physical RequirementsRegularly required to stand, walk and sitGood hand dexterityAbility to reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneelOccasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
