This role combines advanced threat assessment, intelligence analysis, and protective intelligence functions that support in safeguarding our clients' interests across multiple jurisdictions and threat environments.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Protective Intelligence Specialist will serve as a crucial bridge between intelligence gathering and physical security operations, focusing on:Conducting comprehensive threat assessments using advanced analytical methodologies to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential risks to client safety and operationsDeveloping and maintaining intelligence collection plans that leverage both open-source and proprietary intelligence sourcesCreating detailed threat actor profiles and pattern-of-life analyses to support protective operationsProducing actionable intelligence reports and briefings for executive protection teams and client stakeholdersManaging and analyzing data from multiple sources to identify emerging threats and trendsCoordinating with regional security teams to ensure seamless intelligence sharing and threat responseDeveloping and maintaining intelligence requirements and collection matrices for different operational environmentsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, International Security, Criminal Justice, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in protective intelligence, threat assessment, or related intelligence analysis roleDemonstrated expertise in open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection and analysisStrong background in threat assessment methodologies and risk analysis frameworksProficiency in intelligence analysis tools and databasesExperience with social media monitoring and analysis for threat identificationStrong analytical writing skills with experience producing executive-level intelligence productsAbility to obtain and maintain required security clearancesGather intelligence information by field observation, confidential information sources, or public record.Gather, analyze, correlate, or evaluate information from a variety of resources, such as law enforcement databases.Prepare comprehensive written reports, presentations or charts based on research collection and analysis of intelligence data.Use or maintain databases and software applications, such as geographic information systems mapping and AI tools.Link or chart individuals, groups, or events to determine activities and interrelationshipsAttend meetings with other managers to determine operational needsPlan and coordinate security operations for specific clientsCoordinate staff when responding to emergencies or operations requestsReview reports on incidents, contractor issues and manage problemsBe a member of a team and dedicated to the growth of the companyPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in relevant fieldMilitary or law enforcement intelligence experienceForeign language proficiency (particularly in Mandarin, Arabic, or Russian)Experience with protective operations in high-threat environmentsCertification in threat assessment or intelligence analysisKnowledge of regional security dynamics in key global marketsTechnical SkillsProficiency in intelligence analysis platforms and toolsExperience with social media monitoring and analysis softwareKnowledge of GIS and mapping softwareFamiliarity with secure communication protocolsUnderstanding of digital forensics and cyber threat analysisPersonal AttributesExceptional analytical and critical thinking abilitiesStrong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle patternsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesStrong team collaboration skills while maintaining discretionWillingness to travel internationally as requiredAbility to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-stress situationsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability insuranceGenerous paid time off and holidaysProfessional development and certification supportDomestic and International travel opportunitiesPerformance-based bonusesLocationPrimary location at our Corporate Office located in Milford, MI.
