Job SummaryThe Human Resources Coordinator facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative support tasks.Key Responsibilities:Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions via email, mail and phone.Maintains filing systems as assigned.Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.Coordinates and schedules meetings and appointments for managers or supervisors.Liaises with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)Assists in ad-hoc HR projects.Maintains a high level of confidentiality.Performs other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldPrevious Human Resources experience is preferredExcellent interpersonal and telephone skillsExcellent organization skills, with the ability to multi-taskStrong customer service orientation as well as present a professional, executive presenceProficiency with Microsoft computer applications - Word, Excel, PowerPointAbility to work effectively with diverse groups of peopleProven track record of handling confidential informationPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Experience working in the sports and entertainment industryWorking Conditions:Office EnvironmentProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
