As we continue to expand our operations and commercialize our products, we are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team.Job Title: Inventory SpecialistJob Summary:The Inventory Specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement, supplier development, inventory management, and asset management. This role ensures the efficient sourcing of materials, maintains optimal inventory levels, and coordinates with suppliers and internal teams to support production planning and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to inventory control and supplier management.Key Responsibilities:Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and supplies.Supplier Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations, optimizing inventory turnover and reducing waste.Asset Management: Track and manage company assets, ensuring proper allocation, maintenance, and utilization.Receiving & Inspection: Oversee the receiving process, conducting thorough inspections to ensure materials meet quality standards and specifications.Quality Assurance: Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to uphold high-quality standards, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly.Production & Build Planning: Collaborate with production teams to develop build plans, ensuring material availability aligns with manufacturing schedules.Data Analysis & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve inventory and procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices for inventory and procurement management.
