Position: CMV DriverLocation: 875 Greentree Rd Pittsburgh, PA 15220 (Parkway Center Office Building Complex)Type: On-SiteHours/Schedule: Very flexible - everything is dependent on when blood drives are scheduled.Need to be comfortable working between 3-5 days a weekShifts will be between 8-9 hours. Most every single drive is early morning-during the day. Need to be comfortable working on the weekends. This will not be every weekend, but possibly 2-3 a month, this can consist of a just single day out of the weekend as well.Duration: 3-month (extension OR conversion possible!)PR : $18/hr REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEExperience driving a "commercial motor vehicle" requiredValid in-state driver's license and clean driving record requiredHigh School graduate or GED requiredMust be able to work flexible shifts, varied schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays as neededResponsibilities include:This individual will be responsible for the transporting of staff and products to and from blood donation drives via a commercial motor vehicle provided by the company. Because of this, a clean driving record is mandatory for this role. A day in the role will consist of arriving at the office location in Pittsburgh, PA roughly 1.5 hours before the drive to assist in loading equipment into the bus. Afterwards, you will transport the loaded bus with the phlebotomist team to the donation drive site and stay with the bus for the duration of the blood drive. During that time, you'll assist with sealing units and other tasks before heading back to the lab at the office location and dropping off the units as well as the bus. You'll work closely with the phlebotomists running the blood drive.
