Our client, a company that develops opportunities and solutions in education, the environment, immigration, and health equity through philanthropy, creativity, and investments, is looking for an Event Coordinator / Program Manager to join their team. This is an onsite role 4 days a week with travel to various local events needed. In this role you would be responsible for overseeing a summer internship program that helps underrepresented first generation college students find internships in fields of their interest. The ideal candidate will have firsthand experience with event planning and coordination. You must be available Early May-end of August! Please note this is a 3-4 month contract role in Palo Alto, CA. Pay will be $35-45/hr Responsibilities: Onsite 4 days/ week, potentially 5 depending on when events happen: Mon, Tues, Thurs in Palo Alto, Fridays in East Palo Alto or SF. Weds are generally remote.In April/May, they will be putting together event briefs for programming,doing data managementsurveying internsonboarding for programKeeping track of everyone in salesforceStarting in June, there are back-to-back events for 10 weeks.
