Sunshine Avionics leads the industry by providing the most innovative cost saving solutions available in the marketplace and a commitment to outstanding customer service and reliability.ROLE: The Customer Service Assistant supports the Customer Service Manager in assisting him/her in assigned duties related to the Customer service department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Prepare evaluation books for customers (either electronically or hard copies) and then ship to the customer as requested. Follow up with sales director with the shipping information and update evaluation report in the server when books are finishedFAA documentation including making copies of documents received, placing copies in the vault and others for engineer's utilization, and maintaining a log of the documents (including electronic filing)Prepare quotes and submit to customers, process approvals, prepare for shipmentScanning and indexing documentationPerforms other duties, as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES N/AJOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent requiredEXPERIENCEAt least 1-3 years of administrative support experience in a fast-paced office environmentKNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIESLanguage/Communication SkillsEnglish: ability to read and interpret documents such as emails, report and correspondence. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Excellent communication skills.Computer SkillsProficient computer knowledge of Microsoft suite Outlook, Word and especially ExcelMath SkillsAbility to use mathematics to solve problems.Reasoning SkillsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to problem solve and provide solutions.Organizational SkillsStrong organizational skills, strict attention to details and ability to multitask and prioritize as necessary, with minimal supervisory direction. Must be flexible in handling multiple tasks.Interpersonal SkillsMust work well in a team environment and independently.PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
