Cullen and Dykman LLP is seeking a Paralegal with 2+ years corporate experience (tax certiorari experience a plus) to join its team at our Uniondale, Long Island office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and other related software, and exceptional organizational skills.Responsibilities:Provide assistance in gathering assessment and property information throughout New York and New JerseyPrepare and file administrative and judicial challenges in jurisdictions throughout New York and New JerseyFollow-up with administrative agencies and courts for scheduling matters, hearings, and settlementsManaging all incoming and outgoing information related to a matter. Corresponding and communicating with clientsMaintaining files and schedulesQualifications:2+ years corporate experience; tax certiorari experience a plusFour-year college degree Must be conscientious and a team playerMust be able to assume immediate responsibility An ability to work with little supervision and to handle multiple tasks in an efficient and detail-oriented manner Ability to work under deadlines Availability to work overtime as needed Performing other related duties as assignedOur professional staff plays a key role in the firm's continued growth and success, and we look forward to adding a proactive and motivated member to our team.We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits package and a collaborative, friendly environment. The salary range for this role is $65,000 -$80,000 per annum.
