We focus on connecting students with Christ, providing spiritual guidance, and community support through our campus ministry programs.Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist who will handle HR duties and benefits administration to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring our office runs smoothly, while also managing the human resources aspects that support our ministry's growth and staff well-being.Key Responsibilities:Office Management:Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.Manage office supplies inventory, procurement, and maintenance of office equipment.Coordinate with vendors for services such as cleaning, maintenance, and IT support.Act as the primary contact for office-related inquiries.Human Resources:Manage the recruitment process including job postings, interviews, and onboarding new staff.Maintain HR records, ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices.Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee engagement programs.Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.Benefits Administration:Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.Conduct open enrollment sessions and ensure all employees are well-informed about benefits.Liaise with benefits providers and resolve any issues related to employee benefits.Compliance and Reporting:Ensure HR practices comply with federal and state regulations.Prepare and submit required HR and benefits reports.Support to Executive Leadership:Assist senior management with administrative tasks, scheduling, and meeting coordination.Support the organization's mission through strategic HR initiatives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in office management, with significant experience in HR and benefits administration.Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Commitment to the faith-based mission, vision, and values of First Priority.Desired Attributes:Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Proactive problem solver with strong decision-making skills.Experience in a nonprofit or ministry environment is a plus.How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit a resume and a cover letter explaining their interest in this role and how their background aligns with our mission.
