Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for a production company who will be instrumental in the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the maintenance department.You will have a crucial role in working with the strategic objectives of the company to drive performance and operational excellence.· Have a good working knowledge of maintenance, reliability, mechanical integrity, and quality assurance best practices· Able to identify needs for improvement and implement change· Have knowledge of maintenance budgeting and methodologies· Experienced with work management processes including planning & scheduling and preventative maintenance· Demonstrated experience in supervising hourly personnel, showcasing strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to oversee and coordinate maintenance staff effectively, ensuring a safe and productive work environment· In-depth understanding of safety regulations and practices, with a consistent track record of promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture within a team or organization· Determine project maintenance requirements by following preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and review, evaluate, and prioritize maintenance work requests to establish job steps, estimate man-hours, and specify parts and equipment needs· Oversee the activities of maintenance personnel to ensure maintenance and repair activities are performed safely and efficiently, in alignment with company policies, procedures, and technical specifications· Experience with paper converting or manufacturing - and experience in a management role
