Worker's Comp ParalegalWe are looking for an experienced skilled paralegal to assist in our Workers' Comp department. The ideal candidate will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the workers' comp process and be very familiar with laws of SC Workers' Comp. Superior client/customer service skills is a must for this position.Responsibilities:Handling all aspects of workers' compensation cases from the initial client intake meeting through resolution and disbursementDraft pleadings and motionsPerform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.)Keep track of and adhere to filing deadlinesInteract with clients and opposing counsel as necessaryAssist attorneys in preparation for hearingsGather relevant information from a variety of sourcesSkills:Proven working experience as a workers compensation paralegalWork in a team environmentHighly organizedEffective at multi-tasking and prioritizing assignments.Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detailJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year dependent on experience.Benefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offCandidates located in Conway, Charleston, Columbia, Florence, Greenville, Mount Pleasant, Myrtle Beach, and North Charleston encouraged to apply.
