What you would be doing:Assist in the planning and coordination of logistics operations, including shipments, deliveries, and storage.Communicate with suppliers, forwarders, and internal teams to resolve logistical issues.Maintain accurate records of all shipments and deliveries.Assist in the development and implementation of cost-effective transportation strategies.Monitor and track transportation costs, providing reports on key metrics.Ensure compliance with customs regulations, company policies, and industry standards.Provide support for Sales activities, including verifying order completeness and accuracy as well as completing SAP billing transactions and inventory transfer.Build and manage relationships with sales and 3PL warehouse team. Provide feedback on current practices and metrics to continuously streamline organizational process.Monitor and reconcile warehouse inventory and respond to sales or warehouse inquiries related to outbound shipments.Coordinate and provide guidance of sales activities between sales and warehouse to ensure efficient process.What we require (Skills and Background):Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor preferred.· 3+ years of experience as a Logistic Specialist or a similar role is required.· Knowledge of Import/Export regulations is required.· Experience utilizing UPS, FEDEX and other shipping/freight vendors' systems required.· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, Macros).· Previous experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred)· Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.· Familiarity with operational policies and procedures is an advantage.· Effective communication, time management and organization skills required.· Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail required.What you will experience at Delta:You will be joining one of the world's leaders in technology as they grow their presences in North America.
