About the Company Club Car boasts a 60+ year history of industry-leading innovation and design, initially focused on golf cars and then expanding to commercial utility vehicles and personal-use transportation.About the Role This position aids Club Car's channel development and legal teams in managing all commercial contracts and adhering to company policies, applicable laws, and customer requirements. The role involves overseeing contracts worth over $1,000M annually (including those of Garia and Melex), ensuring compliance with nationwide standards for both on-road and off-road sales. The incumbent is tasked with aligning contracts to corporate standards, negotiating with legal and business teams, and implementing contract changes for sales and government bids. This role serves as the corporate contact for certificates of insurance related to contracts and bids and manages set-up procedures to ensure channel partners have visibility of company systems that align with product offerings and contract terms. Further, this position oversees all territories for channel and direct sales by market segment, ensuring appropriate market coverage for each agreement and sales territory. The role also ensures that dealer locator processes are consistent with assigned channel territories. Additionally, the position supports the channel's annual performance program by setting, validating, approving, and documenting objectives. It provides support through analytical reporting, data management, process improvements, and compliance.Responsibilities Working closely with the Legal team, this position supports and leads the enforcement of all phases of commercial contract management, including:Providing support and analysis of customer solicitations, proposals and contracts for the sale of products for Club Car.Manages and maintains the integrity of all domestic and international distribution agreements, including but not limited to offer, maintenance, renewals, and terminations.Modifies terms/conditions to accommodate regulatory changes when needed.Responsible for reviewing government contracts and bid solicitation terms. Identifies potential risks, documents exceptions, and incorporates changes when necessary.Advises business leaders on risks and its impact on business decisions.Review all contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policies. Provides advice and guidance to company sales managers, product management, and other departments.Manages company's portfolio of contracts, including, but not limited to, lease agreements, separation agreements.Frequently interacts with sales, product management, corporate legal team, customers, and members of senior management.Manages all state commercial regulatory compliance activities for the Company's products.Responsible for staying current with and tracking regulatory changes. Ability to analyze and interpret laws pertaining to product offerings.Provide guidance to the company's small electric vehicle, low-speed vehicle, and utility products channel partners, OEMs, sales, and product management on regulatory requirements to sell products.Supports product management with corporate compliance in the registration of all vehicle manufacturing activities. Ensures proper certification and compliance with all governmental agencies that regulate company products.Interprets and explains laws and regulations affecting channel development and sales regarding the establishment of new dealers within state-mandated relevant market areas.Supports the legal team in managing and renewing Club Car and Garia business licensing in states, cities, and counties.Manages the company's CRM process for contract management.Position is responsible for entering and maintaining all new and existing agreements and territory information in SFDC. Including contract terms, copies of agreements, and territory assignments.The position is responsible for all territory assignments and ensuring that all supporting business processes comply and return results based on channel and direct territory data.Collaborates with multiple departments to ensure dealers meet business and legal requirements.Works with channel development to ensure prospective channel partners meet all sales and financial requirements prior to issuance of distribution agreements.Ensure full investigation for vetting of prospective channel partners. Teams with the Finance and Channel Development throughout the process as appropriate and necessary.Updates and maintains legal Contact Information for all Channel Partners.Qualifications Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in contract administration, business management, or closely related field or related experience.Experience: 5+ years of professional experience preferred. Prefer strong Sales, Contract Management, and/or Regulatory Compliance experience, including at least 5 years of direct experience in contract sales and or contract negotiation.Skills: Excellent time-management, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Handling of confidential company and customer information. Strong computer literacy in Microsoft is required, and Siebel CRM or is preferred. Possesses excellent organization, management, analytical, and negotiation skills and demonstrates sound business acumen. Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities. Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge.
