Position OverviewAdams & Martin Group has partnered with a client to find an experienced In-House Legal Assistant based in California. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who is capable of supporting legal operations efficiently. The successful candidate will be involved in various legal tasks, ensuring smooth communication and workflow within the legal department.ResponsibilitiesReview submissions and prepare Advisory Letters to be reviewed by attorneys.Maintain organized files and document management systems.Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on status.Draft and proofread legal documents with proficiency.Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with excellent organizational skills.Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills and work well independently.Interact positively with clients and coworkers using strong interpersonal skills.Maintain client confidentiality and privacy.Utilize MS Outlook, Word, and WordPerfect efficiently.QualificationsBachelor's degree is required.Proficiency in legal drafting and proofreading.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Interpersonal skills to interact positively with clients and coworkers.Required Work HoursMonday through Friday, during the first shift.BenefitsFull benefits package available.Additional DetailsPay Range: $26 - $36 per hour.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
