Medicare Sales Representative

At Centene, we are committed to improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve.">Job Summary:">As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing sales coverage and developing effective market penetration strategies for all products in your assigned territory. Your goal will be to increase access to health insurance by educating and assisting Medicare individuals, distributing health education materials, and arranging for health screenings.">Key Responsibilities:">">Identify Prospective Enrollees: Determine eligibility for participation in the Advantage Medicare product and provide education on enrollment and disenrollment procedures.">Develop Local Community Presence: Establish relationships with local community groups, hospitals, senior centers, and other sites to promote Advantage and generate enrollments.">Conduct Home Visits and Appointments: Meet with prospective enrollees in their homes or at designated locations to complete the enrollment process.">Market Advantage: Promote Advantage at various events, including hospitals, senior centers, assisted living facilities, and community events.">Assist Members: Help members access healthcare services, transportation needs, and other benefits as needed.">Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date on marketing activity guidelines, competitor products, and regulatory requirements.">Attend Meetings and Events: Participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and special events to stay informed and connected with colleagues.">Submit Reports: Provide regular reports on territory performance, product acceptance, and competitive conditions to support business growth.">Requirements:">We are seeking candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of experience in marketing, sales, or community relations, preferably in managed care and Medicare. Bilingual skills and a state Accident and Health Insurance Agent License are highly preferred.
