Job duties:-Provides assistance to the HR Supervisor/Analyst in the screening, processing, and recruiting ofnon-certificated personnel.Coordinates the orderly flow of work within the office. Initiates collaboration among teammembers to develop and improve processes related to administrative duties and assignments.Serves as a liaison to applicants, employees, administrators, and other BCPS schools and officesregarding vacancies, posting, and recruitment processes for non-certificated positions.Assists HR Supervisors/Analysts with recruitment schedule, travel preparation and coordinationof logistics for each event to include booking and confirming reservations, communication withothers attending, gathering of materials, etc.Gathers and assembles information used to prepare vacancy announcements for non-certificatedvacancies.Screens applicant pools to determine that established criteria and minimum requirements aremet. Schedules candidates for interview. Assists HR Supervisors/Analysts with other aspects ofthe employment process. .Facilitates the process on interview days, either on-site or off-site locations, to ensure efficiencyfor both the candidates and interviewers.Ensures that candidate pools are maintained, updating information to ensure department headsand hiring managers receive accurate information in a timely manner.Assists HR Supervisor/Analyst with follow-up, communication, and facilitation of activities withregard to priority transfers, and the declaration of intent process.Assists with the coordination of various recruitment and staffing initiatives and programs toensure responsive communication with candidates, and rapport with partnering institution, jobdevelopment centers, etc.Receives, investigates, and resolves HR information, Applicant Tracking, Onboarding, and otherrelated system issues and concerns.Assists in developing materials for meetings, presentations, or training in support of the Office ofStaffingProvides back-up support to administrative secretary and other team members as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training and Experience:Graduation from an accredited college with an associates' degree, plus five years' ofprogressively responsible administrative level experience. Experience utilizing strong humanrelations skills in the performance of administrative and complex clerical duties required.Experience working with human resources processes and staffing related matters is preferred.Coursework, training, and experiences with HR related laws, regulations, and compliancepreferred.
