Job Description:Probate Paralegal / Legal AssistantThis role involves direct client interaction, assisting with probate proceedings, and managing key administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a legal background and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on their cases.• Review and evaluate cases to prepare for attorney review and filings.• Assist Intake Specialists with managing the intake process.• Maintain case workflow within the firm's electronic case management system.• Draft and send correspondence.• Support attorneys and senior paralegals with various tasks.• Document all case-related events and communications accurately.• Submit invoices in compliance with firm policies.• Manage deadlines for SOLs and other filings under attorney supervision.Qualifications:• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.• At least 3 years of probate-specific experience.• Proficiency in Smart Advocate case management software preferred.• Experience drafting and filing complaints and pleadings.• Familiarity with reviewing and summarizing medical records.• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.29989
